Genie-us

It was one of those days at school when I just couldn't concentrate which made painting the model accurately virtually impossible. So, I wiped it off except for the face which looked more like Patrick Swayze than the beautiful model in front of me, I looked at what I had done and started laughing so hard that I had to leave the room to compose myself. Upon returning the other artists including the model were all laughing and when I looked at my panel I found that David had painted a Genie Lamp at the bottom of my smears to create this masterpiece. "Genie-us"  12x16 oil on panel
Note: This piece is not for sale as the model wants it for her collection.

  1. What a brilliant save! I think this work is priceless. Especially for the memories. Good times.

  2. The lamp was Silvina's idea... and you can't prove I painted it.
That was a good laugh, though, and you're a great sport for posting it!
    Kudos,
